WHAT IS FD CARE+, EXACTLY? +
A home care membership from Florida Doug Services: scheduled exterior checks, pressure washes and a photo report after every visit, with a clear recommendation when something needs fixing.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE $299 HOME PRESSURE WASH? +
Water-only, pressure-controlled cleaning of your exterior walls, soffit, fascia and exterior gutter faces. Checks and photo reports are part of the FD Care+ membership, not the one-time wash. Driveway, walkway, patio and deep-clean chemical treatment are simple add-ons — see below.
IS MY PROPERTY ELIGIBLE? +
The $299 price covers single-family, one-story homes up to 2,000 sq ft of living area in normal maintenance condition. Bigger homes are priced at +$50 per extra 500 sq ft, and a 2nd story adds +$100 — see the size & story table above. Past 4,000 sq ft, just ask and we'll confirm your price.
CAN YOU ALSO DO MY DRIVEWAY, WALKWAY OR PATIO? +
Yes — add them to any visit: Driveway +$99, Driveway + Walkway +$129, Patio/Lanai from $79, Roof Inspection (drone photos) +$149, Shed / Small Structure +$99. Other exterior services (pool cage, fencing, gutters and more) are available too — just ask.
WHAT IF WATER ALONE WON'T CUT IT? +
Add our Deep Clean upgrade (+$99) — a chemical soft-wash for algae, mildew and organic growth. Heavier issues like rust, oil, paint oxidation or hard-water staining are specialty treatments we quote separately, so you're never surprised by the bill.
HOW DOES FD CARE+ WORK, AND WHAT DOES IT COST? +
FD Care+ Essential is $69/month — 4 exterior checks a year (day 1, then months 4, 8 and 12), with a full pressure wash on day 1 and again at month 8, plus a photo report after every visit.
HOW LONG DOES FD CARE+ MEMBERSHIP LAST? +
Your plan runs 12 months from the day of your first visit — not a calendar year, so it doesn't matter when in the year you join. At your 12-month check we'll talk through renewing.
IF YOU FIND SOMETHING DURING A CHECK, DO YOU JUST FIX IT? +
No — FD Care+ is a scheduled check and photo report, not monitoring and not a home inspection or repair service. If we find something (paint, caulking, stucco, carpentry, cleaning and so on) we report it with photos and recommend a fix, quoted separately. Roof inspection with drone photos is available too, as a $149 add-on — not included in any plan.
I'M OUT OF STATE FOR PART OF THE YEAR — CAN YOU STILL HELP? +
Yes — FD Care+ works well for seasonal owners. We check the outside of your home on schedule and send you the photo report wherever you are.
DOES THE PRESSURE WASH COST ANYTHING BEYOND $299? +
The $299 pressure wash is a flat price for eligible properties. If we notice something beyond the wash's scope, we'll let you know and give you a clear price before doing any additional work.
HOW AND WHEN AM I CHARGED? +
Your $69 is charged automatically each month to the card or bank account you set up with us. Prefer to pay once? You can pay the full year upfront for $800. Either way, larger or 2-story homes add the per-wash size charge shown in the table above.
HOW DO I CANCEL? IS THERE A REFUND? +
Just let us know by phone or email with 30 days’ notice — no cancellation fee. If you cancel after your first pressure wash, we charge the difference up to $299 (the one-time wash price). If you’ve already received both pressure washes, the remaining months of your 12-month plan are still due. Payments already made are not refunded.
DO I NEED TO BE HOME DURING THE CHECK? +
No. We only work on the outside of your home, so you don’t need to be there. If your patio or lanai has a screen enclosure, please leave it unlocked or open for us.
HOW DO I GET MY PHOTO REPORT? +
By email, the same day — you’ll have your photo report by the end of the day of your visit.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER? +
Sarasota, Bradenton, Lakewood Ranch, Parrish, Ellenton and Palmetto. Nearby? Call us and we’ll let you know.
WHO DOES THE CHECK? +
Doug, the owner, or a member of the Florida Doug Services team doing your walk-around that day.
WHAT IF I SELL MY HOME? +
You can transfer your plan to the new owner, or cancel it. To transfer, just call or email us with the new owner’s name, phone and email — we’ll set them up with the remaining visits on your plan, on the same schedule.
